Introducing Thinklyn Publishing House
A letter from the founder on why we're starting a new kind of publishing house — and what we intend to publish, for whom, and to what end.
Mac Hutchinson · July 6, 2026
Thinklyn Publishing House exists to publish the work that helps people build things — companies, careers, institutions, ideas — across borders and across formats. We were founded on a simple observation: the best operators, lawyers, founders and thinkers we know are producing extraordinary material that never makes it out of a slide deck, a podcast draft, or a working document. The world is worse for it.
Traditional publishing was built for one shape of work: the long-form book, on a two-year cycle, distributed through a physical supply chain. That shape still matters — our first title, Beyond Borders by Gerard McCabe, is a full-length strategic blueprint, published digitally on day one and available to read and download the moment you buy it. But it is one shape among many. The next thing our authors publish may be a whitepaper, a podcast season, an ebook, a live workshop, a working app. We are building the house to carry all of it.
Our focus is deliberate. We publish for founders, operators, investors, lawyers, and the professionals who advise them — people who are trying to make something real happen in the world and who need honest, useful, well-made work to think with. That means clarity over cleverness, evidence over opinion, and formats built for the way people actually read, listen and work today: on a phone, between meetings, in transit, in the middle of the decision.
The impact we intend is concrete. Every title we publish should measurably help a reader make a better decision — where to expand, how to structure a company, when to hedge, what to build, who to trust. If a Thinklyn book, podcast, or paper cannot pass that test, we do not publish it.
This site is the beginning. In the coming months we will release new titles from our founding authors, additional seasons of the MGSN and Rapid Fire podcasts, and a growing library of digital-first work from operators around the world. If you have work that belongs here, we want to hear from you.
Thank you for being early. — Mac Hutchinson, CEO & Co-founder, Thinklyn
